I mount it all, pink stuff, white stuff, gray stuff....

Pretty much everything but erasers.

I don't mount any of my stamps. I carve a lot of stamps for my own
use and I find that not only are they easier to clean but they stamp
just fine without mounting. Plus for boxes by the time I have made
the book, put together the box and made little shrinky dink tokens
[one for the book one for the first finder prize] that I just don't
have it for doing anything else. So yes I think they look good
mounted but not worth my time. Also if it is a small box they take
up less room if they are unmounted.
